  • Yes, the plastic chamber can easily be removed from the pouch when not in the water to make it more comfortable when sitting on the boat.

  • No, the flag will automatically deploy when you enter the water and retract when you get out. There’s nothing you need to do to activate FlagGuard®.

  • The pouch is extremely easy to attach to the life jacket. You simply need to attach both sets of straps on the inside of your life jacket. Check out more specific assembly instructions on our How It Works page.

  • No, the flag will automatically retract when you exit the water. There’s nothing you need to do to deactivate FlagGuard® when not in the water.

  • The pouch can be removed by simply undoing the straps and removing it from your life jacket. It is not permanently attached.
